Convar WTC Data Recovery
-
FBI records concerning Convar WTC hard drive data recovery:
"It's possible to read the individual drive surfaces, and then create a virtual drive," said Peter Wagner, a spokesman for the company, a subsidiary of U.K.-based Convar Europe Ltd."
"When Convar discovers encryption keys on a drive, indicating a financial record, it saves the information and hands it over to its U.S. clients, who are in turn cooperating with the FBI, he said."

fincen/ofac,dod) were directly involved in the investigation. Multiple agencies from several other countries were also directly involved including the Investemant Dealers Association, Financial Services Authority, Financial Services Agency,FINMA, and BaFin among others.
Based on FBI records from Team 4 files, Folder Title: Trading Information Recieived dated 8/14/2003:
"Four accounts were identified, one each at Deutsche bank, Goldman Sachs, Lehman Brothers and Smith Barney"
https://www.scribd.com/document/355572600/T4-B3-Trading-Info-Rcd-8-28-Fdr-FBI-Timeline-8-14-03-pdf
and FOIA request No. 24-00228-APPS dated March 21, 2024 "Enclosed is document containing a list of all securities reviewed by the SEC in its investigation of trading"
I believe the requested data exists within SEC systems, and is highly relevent to public release to understanding the size and signficance of the federally funded investigation. I believe the requested data can be released without revealing individuals private information or sensitive investigative methods.
